“Secrets of textile sales to Europe” takes place in Tashkent
On 1-2 July, a business training took place in the Wyndham Hotel in Tashkent: “Tailor Made for Europe”, the author’s program developed by one of the most famous and influential people in the world of textiles, Mr. Anoju Khanna (India).
The organizer of the event, which covered a wide audience: from young people planning the first steps in the textile industry, to entrepreneurs with already formed business, managers of textile enterprises, was the Association of textile and garment and knitwear industry of Uzbekistan Uztextileprom.
The seminar was moderated by Ilkhom Khaidarov, Chairman of the Association “Uztextileprom”, a graduate of “International cotton school” (Memphis, USA) and the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade, who worked for many years in foreign trade both in Uzbekistan and abroad.
The head of the textile industry of the republic presented to the seminar participants a presentation on the theme: “The current situation of the textile industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
Today, the textile industry of Uzbekistan is among the strategically important and dynamically developing sectors of the national economy. It has about 7,000 enterprises. The volume of domestic processing of cotton fiber increased from 7% in 1991 to 60% in 2018. By 2025, this figure will be 100%.
Attracting investment, the introduction of the most modern equipment and technologies are the most important factors in the development of the textile industry of Uzbekistan. To date, more than US$3 billion has already been invested in the industry.
Uzbekistan plans to increase textile production 2.6 times and export volume to US$7.1 billion by 2025.
Further, the presentation was presented to the participants by the head of Sava international (India), Mr. Anoju Khanna: “Requirements in the European market, business automation”.
The invited speaker was a world expert, the founder of Sava international, Mr. Soruji Khanna.
Exclusively for entrepreneurs of Uzbekistan, the speakers revealed all the secrets and told about the pitfalls in the field of cooperation with partners from Europe.
