UZTEXTILEEXPO 2023 AUTUMN EDITION DEMONSTRATES INDUSTRY INNOVATIONS ONCE AGAIN

The 7th UzTextileExpo Autumn 2023 International Exhibition of Textile and Fashion Industry unfolds its exposition from October 18 to 20 at the Uzexpocentre NEC, in Pavilions 3 and 4 and Atrium Hall 2.

The exhibition is organised by Iteca Exhibitions International Exhibition Company and its partner ICA Eurasia Group in collaboration with the Textile Product Marketing and Promoting Agency under the Association of Textile and Garment Industry Enterprises of Uzbekistan.

UzTextileExpo is in great demand both among local manufacturers and international companies and buyers. The exhibition is a universal business platform for business meetings and presentation of the latest industry innovations. All of the above, as well as the theme of the exhibition itself has contributed to its transformation into a seasonal one. For the second year in a row, UzTextileExpo opens its doors both in spring and autumn. This is the only industry exhibition event in Uzbekistan held twice a year.

In the process of its progressive development, UzTextileExpo follows modern industry trends, promptly responding to changes and trends, ensuring quantitative growth and geographic expansion of the event participants, buyers and experts. While around 160 companies took part in spring exhibition 2023, UzTextile Expo Autumn 2023 gathers over 180 companies and brands from the Republic of Belarus, PRC, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
The exhibition is the key event of the Tashkent Textile Week, which also includes “Branding School” trainings, a seminar organised by the Better Work Programme, as well as seminars on certification and innovations, B2B meetings, production and business tours.

The textile industry of Uzbekistan is one of the most dynamically developing sectors of the national economy. There are more than 9,000 entities are operating in the textile and knitting industry, both small and medium-sized businesses and large clusters supplying products along the entire production chain - from yarn to ready-made clothing. Its export potential growth deserves a particular emphasis. Product supplies abroad are showing stable growth; this year it is planned to increase export volumes to US$ 5 billion. Uzbek textiles enjoy great demand both in traditional sales markets, such as Russia and China, and in the EU countries after having gained a beneficiary status of the GSP+ Preference Programme in 2021.

Every year, UzTextileExpo helps domestic manufacturers to both demonstrate their products and technologies, as well as find new export directions and enter into business agreements. This year, we especially emphasize participation of more than 58 manufacturers from Uzbekistan, ranging from flagships and cotton-textile clusters to small businesses presenting products fully meeting the needs of the most demanding customers. It has been an established tradition, when visitors can get familiar with high-quality textile and clothing products at the stands of regular exhibitors, including Osborn Textile, Samarkand Apparel, Saff Textile, Zelal Tekstil, Nil-Granit, Yustex, Bahmal Group, Global Textile Solutions, and Barkas.
All these greatly contribute to the growing popularity of the traditional Buyer Programme, which serves as a center of attraction for distributors, wholesalers, and retailers and as a universal platform for finding new suppliers, and at the same time, for domestic manufacturers - for finding new counterparts and markets for their products. The Buyer Programme grows in its scales every year. Thus, more than 100 procuring companies have confirmed their participation this year.
The National Pavilion of India is participating for the first time in the UzTextileExpo Autumn 23 exhibition with a wide range of dyes, chemicals, yarns and fabrics.
The manufacturers of fiber, knitted fabric, as well as fabrics and textiles will once again take part in the collective stand of the Belneftekhim Concern of the Republic of Belarus (MOGILEVKHIMVOLOKNO, NAFTAN, SVETLOGORSKKHIMVOLOKNO). Having been encouraged by their successful participation in last year’s exhibitions, the leading companies, such as Mogotex, Orsha Flax Mill, as well as the debutant - Vitebsk Carpets will present a wide range of ready-made clothing and fabrics made of cotton, linen and wool, carpets, technical and home textiles and much more.
The companies from China (80 companies) will take part with their traditionally broad and collective participation representing manufacturers of home textiles, ready-made clothing, underwear, fabrics, knitted fabrics, and textile accessories. The national participation is organised by True Go International Exhibitions Co., Ltd (Beijing) and actively supported by the Chinese Council for Promotion of International Trade - CCPIT.
This year, for the first time, a stand of USAID TCA Programme will be presented at the exhibition for trade development support and promotion in the Central Asian region. It will unite 19 companies from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, which will present a wide range of cotton yarn and fabric, denim, interior fabrics and home textiles, linen knitwear, family clothing and accessories.
