Russian textile companies can assist in training employees of Uzbek enterprises to produce clothing for people with disabilities.

According to the Russian Trade Mission in Uzbekistan, a meeting was held in Tashkent between the leadership of the Uztextileprom Association and representatives of Russian textile companies participating in a business mission organized by the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Center for Assistance to Young Specialists” of Rosmolodezh.

According to the Russian Trade Mission, the initiative to launch educational programs for textile factories in Uzbekistan, aimed at training in the production of clothing adapted for people with disabilities, was met with great interest. It was recognized as a relevant and socially significant initiative that could unite the efforts of specialists from both countries.

In addition, the meeting discussed the organization of contract manufacturing at Uzbek enterprises, the supply of fabrics for Russian producers, and prospects for cooperation between Rosmolodezh and Uztextileprom in supporting youth initiatives in the light industry.

Earlier in spring, a meeting was held in Moscow between the leadership of the Union of Textile and Light Industry Entrepreneurs (SOUZLEGPROM) and a delegation of Uztextileprom. During the meeting, the President of SOUZLEGPROM Andrey Razbrodin called for establishing cooperation between Uzbek and Russian enterprises and addressing issues of deeper collaboration.
