The Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea held a meeting with the leadership of Korea Federation of Textile Industries (KOFOTI).

The parties discussed prospects for attracting South Korean representatives of world brands specializing in finished garment and knitwear to organize the production of ready-made clothes in Uzbekistan under their brands, as well as cooperation in increasing the volume of exports of domestic textile products to the Korean market.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to work out the issues of establishing long-term cooperation by organizing negotiations through a videoconference with participation of leading South Korean textile companies and the leadership of Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association.
