A delegation of the Uztekstilprom Association, headed by Deputy Chairman Bakhtiyor Muhammadsaidov, is in Japan as part of the official delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, headed by Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Sardor Umurzakov on 1-5 October.

During the visit of the delegation of the Uztekstilprom Association in Japan, a number of meetings and negotiations were held with Japanese companies to discuss issues of expanding bilateral cooperation in the textile industry.

In particular, a meeting was organized with representatives of Kuraray on 1 October 2019 in Osaka.

During the conversation, the Uzbek side presented information on the potential of the textile industry in Uzbekistan. The Japanese side expressed interest in considering the possibility of organizing production of new types of fibers, followed by exporting products to the European and American markets.

The visit of the company`s technical group to Uzbekistan is expected in the third decade of October 2019. During the stay, the Japanese company intends to visit domestic enterprises - manufacturers of terry products. Project parameters will be determined after the visit of the delegation of the Japanese company to Uzbekistan.
