In the Kushtepinsky district of the Ferghana region, a project was launched-the Innovative Apparel sewing and tricide factory with the participation of Srilanki investments, the Dunyo correspondent reports.
The total cost of the project based on modern technologies is $ 15 million. The company specializes in the production of finished clothes for the world -famous H&M brand.
Products are focused on domestic and foreign markets. Currently, trading agreements have been concluded with large companies from countries such as Russia, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, the UAE, Iran and Kyrgyzstan.
As a result of the launch of the plant, more than 500 new jobs were created. After the project was released at full capacity, the number of jobs is planned to increase to 3.5 thousand. The company`s management also plans to open training centers and medical points for creating comfortable working conditions of employees.
According to preliminary estimates, after the factory was released at full power, the annual export volume will reach $ 30 million. This will not only create thousands of jobs for the local population, but will also make a significant contribution to the foreign trade turnover of our country.
The significance of the project lies in the fact that it will contribute to the development of modern production capacities in the textile and light industry of Uzbekistan, diversifying the range of products and strengthening national brands in the international market.
One of the priority tasks set by the leader of the country is the expansion of local production capacities, attracting direct foreign investment and increasing export products. The opening of the factory in Ferghana can be called one of the important steps on the path to achieving these goals.
