TEXTILEEXPO UZBEKISTAN 2025: A PLATFORM FOR BUSINESS GROWTH AND EXPORT

The 24th International Exhibition of Textile and Garment Industry - TextileExpo Uzbekistan Spring 2025 will open its exposition on May 14-16, 2025 in Pavilions 3, 4 and Atrium 2 of the Uzexpocentre NEC.
The event is organised by Iteca Exhibitions International Exhibition Company and its partner ICA Eurasia Group.
The textile and garment industry, as Uzbekistan's most export-oriented sector, consistently seeks up-to-date information on global trends and innovations. In recent years, the industry has increased production volumes for both domestic consumption and export, steadily expanding its market reach.
The International Exhibition of Textile and Garment Industry - TextileExpo Uzbekistan was founded in 2004. One of the key objectives of the exhibition is to support domestic manufacturers of textile and garment and promote exports. Over the years, the exhibition has evolved, adapting its format and name to align with market trends. Since 2018, it has been held under the UzTextile Expo brand, and this year, it returns to its original name—TextileExpo Uzbekistan. Staying true to its mission, the annual event has earned recognition among domestic exporters and international companies, playing a significant role in the development of the textile industry and becoming a national brand of Uzbekistan.
The TextileExpo Uzbekistan Spring 2025 exhibition has brought together 165 companies and brands from seven countries: Republic of Belarus, China, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkiye, Uzbekistan, as well as over 100 large buyers from near and far abroad countries.
The exhibition includes the following sections: yarn and fabrics, knitted fabric, silk, hosiery, home textiles, raw materials for textile industry, accessories, footwear, dyes and chemicals, as well as printing and packaging. This year, the expositions have expanded with new sections: cotton and fibre, clothing and underwear, clothing from recycled materials, clothing for covered women, medical textiles, and commercial equipment.
Being initially focused on assisting primarily domestic manufacturers, the exhibition is an important support for Uzbek companies in promoting their brand in the market. The exhibition provides an ideal platform for domestic manufacturers to showcase their products, which match leading international brands in quality and design. A significant and practical feature of the event is the Special Buyer Programme, which annually attracts a growing number of manufacturers, wholesale buyers, retailers, and suppliers from various countries, and facilitates direct business interactions, fostering partnerships and expanding market reach for participants.
For several years, the exhibition has adopted a seasonal format - TextileExpo Uzbekistan Spring and TextileExpo Uzbekistan Autumn —making it one of the few trade shows in Uzbekistan held twice a year. This approach has been a natural response to the growing demand for the event and the increasing interest from the sewing and textile community.
Traditionally, domestic manufacturers actively participate in the exhibition, both large enterprises and representatives of small businesses, that once again emphasises the relevance of TextileExpo Uzbekistan. The following companies regularly participate in the exhibition: Osborn Tekstil, Zelal Tekstil, Barkas Teks, Daka Tex, Aisha Home Textile, Art Soft Tex, Urganch Bahmal, Virtus Tricot, and Indorama.
A highlight of the Spring 2025 season is the participation of domestic small businesses under the renowned "Made in Uzbekistan" brand. Supported by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, these enterprises will showcase their products, promoting national goods in the global market. Their stands will feature a diverse array of items, including fabrics, ready-made garments, workwear, home textiles, hosiery, jeans, and accessories. This initiative provides small businesses with an opportunity to connect with buyers on both regional and international scales.
At the same time, TextileExpo Uzbekistan, is not limited with the participation of only domestic companies, It attracts to its site a significant number of foreign manufacturers and suppliers who, in addition to textiles, will exhibit products made of materials, which are not common for Uzbekistan - linen, leather, etc., as well as related products - accessories and textile fittings. This way the exhibition presents the entire production chain of textile and garment - from yarn and threads to finished clothes and packaging.
The collective stand of manufacturers from Turkiye will demonstrate a wide range of accessories and fittings.
Many companies from China are once again widely represented by their companies presenting fabrics, finished clothes, accessories, bags, and home textiles.
TextileExpo Uzbekistan is one of the key exhibition events in the industry, an effective business platform for business contacts between manufacturers and potential clients, for establishing partnerships, and expanding sales markets. TextileExpo Uzbekistan together with its Buyer Programme provide ample opportunities for both manufacturers to enter the Uzbek market and to suppliers to purchase local products of high quality and at reasonable prices.
