TextileExpo Uzbekistan 2026

The 26th International Exhibition of Textile and Garment Industry – TextileExpo Uzbekistan 2026 took place on 13–15 May 2026 at the NEC Uzexpocentre in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Organisers: Iteca Exhibitions International Exhibition Company in partnership with ICA Eurasia Group.

The official opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the exhibition’s official supporting organisations, including the Light Industry Development Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan, the Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association (Uztextileprom), the Osiyo Ramzi Association of Designers of Uzbekistan, as well as members of diplomatic missions accredited in Uzbekistan.

TextileExpo Uzbekistan 2026 brought together 170 companies and brands from China, Kazakhstan, Russia, Türkiye and Uzbekistan, once again demonstrating its value as a leading platform for business networking and industry development. Over the course of three days, the exhibition recorded 5,654 visits from industry professionals, including manufacturers, distributors, buyers and retail representatives from 33 countries: Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Republic of Belarus, Canada, France, Georgia, Germany, India, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Republic of Korea, Kyrgyz Republic, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Moldova, Pakistan, Poland, Romania, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tajikistan, Türkiye, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, the United States, and Uzbekistan. The top five international visitor markets were Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic and Tajikistan.

A distinctive feature and integral part of TextileExpo Uzbekistan was its Buyer Programme, which this year attracted more than 700 major buyers from the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Russia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. The programme served as a powerful business matchmaking platform, facilitating direct engagement between exhibitors and prospective buyers, business partners, wholesale and retail companies, major retail chains, manufacturers and e-commerce businesses.

One of the exhibition’s standout features was the MADE IN UZBEKISTAN collective pavilion of small and medium textile manufacturers. Organised by the Light Industry Development Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan, it attracted considerable attention from buyers and industry professionals alike.

The exhibition hosted a wide range of companies from China.

The event received extensive coverage from industry media, leading domestic and international news outlets, sector organisations, international institutions, diplomatic missions, buyers and exhibitors themselves. Across the exhibition’s social media channels alone, total reach was 4,417,153 views.

Feedback from exhibitors and visitors once again confirmed TextileExpo Uzbekistan’s position as one of the key and fastest-growing textile industry platforms in Central Asia.

YKK, Mr. Volkan Sari, Domestic Market and Export Sales Manager (Türkiye):

– This was our first time exhibiting at TextileExpo Uzbekistan, and the experience proved to be highly productive. The Uzbek market is particularly attractive due to its dynamic growth and the large number of potential customers. The exhibition provided an excellent opportunity to connect with both existing and prospective clients, showcase our products, and demonstrate how we can support manufacturing processes. We successfully achieved our objective of raising brand awareness and introducing our products to the market. We intend to participate in future editions of the exhibition and further strengthen our presence in Uzbekistan.

Jiangsu Goostars Hometextiles Co., Ltd, Ms. Xiaohong Ma, Manager (China):

– Last year, we participated in the exhibition with our home textile range, and this year we expanded our presence by introducing a second stand featuring silk velvet – a new product for us that is already generating strong interest in the Uzbek market. Throughout the exhibition, we met a large number of professional visitors and companies with extensive experience in importing and working with similar products, which reflects the high quality of the audience and the strong business potential of the market. Following the exhibition, we are already considering the possibility of opening a warehouse in Uzbekistan and plan to return next year.

Mimicloo, Mr. Mikhail Mikhailov, Buyer (Russia):

– I was pleasantly surprised that even large manufacturers were willing to discuss relatively small order volumes. At the same time, I found genuinely attractive cooperation opportunities in every pavilion. From the very beginning of the exhibition, we identified several potential agreements that could ensure stable business operations for the next six months, including arrangements with deferred payment terms. The TextileExpo Hosted Buyer Programme proved extremely effective for us, as Uzbekistan offers access to a wide range of suppliers and manufacturers. I also discovered innovative technologies that I intend to introduce in Russia. I am very satisfied with the results and definitely plan to return next year to meet new manufacturers and explore new business opportunities.

AGF Group LLP, Ms. Gaukhar Nasyrova, Director (Kazakhstan):

– This is our first participation in TextileExpo Uzbekistan as exhibitors, although we had previously attended as visitors. We can already say that the exhibition has been both highly active and very promising for our business. During the first days alone, we explored around 20 new business contacts. The atmosphere at the exhibition is highly professional, with visitors who are genuinely interested in the products on display. It was particularly encouraging to see strong interest in companies from Kazakhstan, and we are optimistic about achieving excellent results from our participation.

The debut participation of more than 20 Uzbek companies at TextileExpo Uzbekistan 2026 once again highlighted the growing potential of the country’s textile industry and the strong commitment of businesses to expanding domestic production, increasing export capacity, and building new international partnerships. TextileExpo Uzbekistan continues to strengthen its position as the region’s leading B2B platform, where new business networks are established, joint projects are launched, and opportunities for further industry growth are created.

Registration is now open for participation in TextileExpo Uzbekistan 2027, which will take place from 18–20 May 2027.
