Uzbekistan and Afghanistan are expanding cooperation in the textile sector

As an important step towards developing cooperation and economic growth, new opportunities between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan were discussed. At a meeting at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the Afghan delegation, the need for further development of bilateral relations and taking them to a new level was emphasized.

During the negotiations, issues of expanding trade and economic cooperation, in particular cotton processing, increasing the production of textile products, as well as processing of fruits and vegetables, were discussed.

As a result of the meeting, a memorandum was signed aimed at strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation, and an agreement was reached to regularly hold such meetings. This creates a solid foundation for more effective and sustainable collaboration in the future.
