5th International Exhibition for Textile and Fashion Industries "UzTextileExpo Autumn 2022"

Within the framework of the Innoprom International Industrial Exhibition, a number of negotiations were held between the Uztekstilprom Association and the regions of the Russian Federation.
So, on the first day of the exhibition, a meeting was held between the Chairman of the Association "Uztekstilprom" Ilkhom Khaidarov and the Vice-Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Alexander Ruppel. During the negotiations, new opportunities for the textile and garment knitwear industry of Uzbekistan were discussed: cooperation, investments, and logistics, as well as issues of implementing joint investment projects and the possibility of creating a logistics hub in the Krasnodar Territory.
According to the data, Krasnodar Territory is the leader in the Southern Federal District in terms of industrial production. The industrial complex of the Krasnodar Territory has more than 7 thousand enterprises of various production specializations, which employ about 80 thousand people. The priority areas for the development of the industrial complex of the Krasnodar Territory are agricultural and food machinery; construction materials production, chemical industry, petrochemical industry, light industry (production of fibers and fabrics), woodworking industry.
The light industry of the Krasnodar Territory is represented by enterprises of textile and clothing production, as well as the production of leather, leather goods and footwear.
Also, A. Ruppel spoke about various benefits and preferences provided by the administration of the Krasnodar Territory in relation to entrepreneurs who are ready to carry out entrepreneurial activities in the region. One of these points of growth of the regional economy is associated with the creation of a network of industrial (industrial) parks on the territory of the Krasnodar Territory - specially prepared "turnkey" investment sites that make it possible to ensure the launch of production in the shortest possible time and minimize investor costs, infrastructure subsidies and compensation at rates.
In continuation of negotiations with representatives of Krasnodasr region on 6 April, a meeting was held with the Director of the Department of Industrial Policy of the Krasnodar Territory Mikhail Dorozhkov and the Deputy Representatives of the Association "Uztekstilprom" - M. Dzhumaniyazov.
During the talks, M. Dorozhnikov expressed interest in the implementation of joint projects with Uzbek partners in the Krasnodar Territory. In particular, M. Dorozhnikov proposed the organization of a joint venture for the production of fabrics, also taking into account the convenient location of the region for sending goods, he explained what advantages the creation of a logistics hub in Krasnodar would give for further export of products both to the domestic Russian market and to foreign countries.
